Featured in Mel Brook's 1977 movie, High Anxiety, this structure stands out from the rest of San Francisco's many memorable buildings. As its angles and leading lines create a sense of symmetry, the 17-story building also evokes a sense of vastness when standing near the guardrails.

This image was taken on the 16th floor of the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Hotel. To get this perspective, I was on the east side of the building, looking toward the elevators.
Enter the Hyatt Regency by walking into the building using the main entrance off of Market St. Next, ride on the escalator, which will take you to the main lobby of the building. Once reaching the lobby, turn left and take the elevator up to the 16th floor. Finally, after reaching the 16th floor, take a right all the way to the end of the building until you see this perspective.
