This spillway is one of the most mesmerizing sights in northern California. Against a mountainous road, the clear blue lake water plunges into a massive resevior drain. It's a must-see spot — especially from above!

This look down view is of the Morning Glory Spillway, also known as the Glory Hole, located at Lake Berryessa in northern California. You can drive along highway 128 and park near the viewing area.
I used my drone for this shot and launched it from the parking lot at the corner of Lake Berryessa Exd and Highway 128. It's not much of a hike, so you can also walk along the lake and find your preferred angle.
