How to get there
N36° 36' 48.7908"W118° 07' 32.7108"
First, make your way to Lone Pine on Highway 395 and turn west (toward the mountains) on Whitney Portal Road. You'll stay on Whitney Portal Road for 2.7 miles and then turn right on Movie Flat Road. Movie Flat Road will be paved for about 0.6 miles, where it will then become a well-maintained, graded dirt road.
The road is very good and a sedan is totally fine; only some washboard at the worst. At 1.5 miles from the turn off for Movie Flat Road there will be a sharp right curve in the road. Follow the road around that curve and immediately turn left into a dirt lot. This is the Mobius Arch Trail parking.
Park and grab your stuff then follow the signs for Mobius Arch Trail, which heads west out of the lot. The trail is about a quarter mile to the arch and is really easy. The trail is a short loop, so after shooting you can continue on the loop back around to the parking lot, or just head back the way you came.
