This is one of the most intriguing canyons — you can photograph anything from Milky Way to the surf all the way down to the beach. It’s just a small pull out the side of the road, but the pictures here are breathtaking.

I took this photograph from a pull out on Piuma Rd. It’s easiest to follow the GPS coordinates to the spot. It’s about 20 minutes from Malibu and could be up to an hour’s drive from Santa Monica.
