This image was taken at the easterly end of Plansee from a mountain viewpoint that you can access on the way to the Schönjöch peak. I faced west towards Plansee lake for the photo.
First, park in the Parkplatz (47.486339, 10.837537) and then walk along the 'Musteralpe Plansee' path that leads around the eastern end of Plansee. Keep an eye out for the small trailhead that will take you up the side of the hill and while you're using the GPS coordinates to guide you, make sure to look out for a small sign detailing that the trail is tight, steep and rocky. After about 1.5 hours of hiking, venture left off the marked trail (back towards the lake) to reach this viewpoint.
There are multiple spots where you can get a clear view of the lake, so know that even if you venture slightly off course, you can still get a similar view.
