If you're looking for the most charming view in Austria, then this location is a must-see spot. Swans elegantly glide over the crystal-clear sea and the 16th-century Alpine houses are the perfect backdrop to capture the essence of Hallstatt's small-town appeal.

This image was taken from the Classic Village Viewpoint (Houses Panorama), looking south onto the town of Hallstatt and the Hallstätter Sea.
To get to this observation deck, I recommend street parking or parking in one of the many public carparks in Hallstatt. Please note that if you can't find street parking, you'll have to pay to park in any of the lots.
Once you're parked, reference the GPS coordinates or enter Classic Village Viewpoint (Houses Panorama) into your Google Maps and follow the directions through town to this viewpoint. The town is small, so no matter where you parked, it'll be a short, leisurely walk.
Note:
The town of Hallstatt is a place where people live during the entire year. Please be respectful of their properties when you're visiting. Some tourists ignore the signs of private property, so only visit an area if you're not trespassing on someone's private grounds. There are many great places in the city which are free to access, so be courteous and don't take advantage of the village and its residents.
